About this Instructor

I currently serve as the Assistant Curator for the Coker Arboretum, a 5 acre historic garden within the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill campus. The Arboretum was started in 1903 and has been under the care of the NCBG since 1982. I am also working on a Master's Degree at UNC in Ecology.

Where I teach LFL

Our LFL classes will be taught in the Jim and Delight Allen Educational Center at the North Carolina Botanical Garden. The Allen Center is the first building on a UNC campus, the first state-owned building in North Carolina, and the state's first public museum and outreach center to earn LEED platinum status.
